1.  The Treasure is hidden somewhere in the Grand Island city limits. It is inside a plain white envelope. It must be brought to the Independent during regular business hours within five business days after the last clue is given.

2. You will not need to trespass on any private property or restricted public property to figure out a clue or find the Treasure.

3. No property, public or private, will need to be moved or modified in any way to figure out a clue or find the Treasure.

4. The Treasure Hunt requires no extraordinary physical act such as climbing, crawling, running, jumping, digging or yodeling.

5. After the last clue has been published, the Hunt will continue for five days or until someone wins.

6. Independent employees and their immediate families are ineligible to win.

7. Only one winner per family per year.

8. Having fun is required at all times.

9. Pirate wear optional. (Arrrrrrgh!)

10. Nicholas Cage in permanently ineligible.
